Enjoy nature in this Rustic Cabin! This one is decorated with evergreen trees in mind. It reflects the true beauty of our property. Its also our only rustic cabin with a stove and running water for the sink. Sit back by the campfire, roast some marshmallows and enjoy the sound of a distant whippoorwill or woodpecker. Smell the scent of cedar in the air coming from the forest of cedar trees that surround you! Evergreen Cottage welcomes you!
Accommodation:
Evergreen Cottage is a one room cabin with one king size bed and one foldable twin bed. This cabin also has a stove/oven as well as a water reservoir and sink for dishes (water not available during winter and it's not for drinking)Â
No private bathroom (clean bath house just a quick walk away)

Twin Lakes Country Cabins is a cabin rental and campground property with plenty of recreational amenities located deep within the Hoosier National Forest.
**Important Note BEFORE booking** From June 20th until approximately September 23, 2026, our main pond will be drained, and the dam will be rebuilt. During this time the pond will not be available as crews work to rebuild and expand the depth and size giving future guests a more enjoyable experience. We will limit all dozer work to weekdays, so your weekend remains peaceful. Our other pond will still be available for water activities. Thank you for understanding. We look forward to hosting your summer getaway!

From I-64 in Southern Indiana, take exit 79 and go south on State Rd. 37 approximately 10 miles to State Rd 70. Turn left, continue approx. 5 miles and turn right onto Gerald Rd. Continue a few miles until turning left onto Urban Rd. A couple more miles and this turns into Thrifty Rd; we're on the right!
If you're pulling an RV, stick with these directions to stay on paved roads and easy access.
